Color Mixing Video Course

I have been posting color mixing demos on social media for years. Some of my videos have been featured by BuzzFeed and other media outlets. In my 60 minute video course, I teach practical color mixing that actually works. The beginning exercises only use there colors plus white, and I demonstrate how to mix many of the colors that most artist buy.

Color mixing can be frustrating for beginners, part of the confusion is that some of the traditional color theory is wrong. For example, in my course I demonstrate that it's possible to mix red which is traditionally thought of as being a primary color.

Many artist complain that acrylic paint dries too quickly which makes it difficult to create smooth blends. In this video, I demonstrate how I use Golden OPEN acrylics to create smoother blending. You can also add retarder or slow drying mediums to regular acrylics to achieve the same results.
